Privacy Engineering: Focus on the Privacy Product experience at Uber (Privacy Settings, Privacy Tools, Privacy Products & Privacy Systems). Work on an end to end experience that moves the needle in improving Data Privacy for our end users (Riders, Drivers, Eaters, Bikers), ranging from cool iOS/Android features on the Uber apps to the full stack Java/Go /MySQL/Cassandra based Export and Deletion Systems owned by Privacy Team.
Security Response & Investigations: Defend Uber's computing environment by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to threats. A Security Response Engineer intern must be agile, willing to learn, and think outside of the box in order to operate effectively in an ever-changing cyber threat landscape. Execute on incident response plans, identify root cause, and drive mitigation to prevent future occurrences. Investigate cases of internal abuse using forensic investigation methodologies and refine incident response procedures.
At Uber, we ignite opportunity by setting the world in motion. We take on big problems to help drivers, riders, delivery partners, and eaters get moving in more than 600 cities around the world.
We welcome people from all backgrounds who seek the opportunity to help build a future where everyone and everything can move independently. If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let's move the world forward, together.
