Department Assistant, Conference Programs & Proceedings

Full-time, 40 hours per week position available, with flexible work hours.

Description of duties: Responsible for administrative support of the Conference Programs and Proceedings Department. Duties include data entry, retrieval, and tracking within a customized CRM database, assisting staff to meet production and publication goals, handling/routing incoming emails, maintaining documents, collecting and tracking information, and general office duties.

Compensation includes: Competitive wage, annual discretionary bonus, defined contribution retirement plan with additional company match and paid-time-off plan beginning at 31 days per year.

Education & Experience Requirements: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, customer service experience, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases required. Experience with international constituents, comfortable learning new technologies, and experience with HTML, XML or CMS, a plus.
